[Help] My two y/o pit bull has become more excitement reactive with other dogs, need any advice.

Hello,My girl is about two, maybe two and a half, she has always been excitement reactive around new dogs and because of that I usually only let her interact with dogs during scheduled play dates or when she's at doggy day care.Our problem is when we're walking down the street she gets incredibly excited to see other dogs. She cries and pulls and makes a big 'ol scene. We use a gentle leader now which controls her well but the issue is her breed. People get scared when they see a pit bull crying and pulling at her leash to get to their dog, understandably.How do I work on curbing this behavior? I'm not worried about her behavior around dogs after this initial tantrum, just her behavior when she sees another dog and is not allowed to greet it.Any advice is welcome! via /r/dogs http://ift.tt/2qC9GTn
