Hi fellow dog lovers!My 10 yr old shiba has been acting strangely at night. The past month, every once in a while, she wakes us up at around 3am to take her out.She acts scared like how she acts when fireworks or the fire alarms are going off. She wants to go outside and get as far away from our home as possible.We can't find any correlations to when she does it and any activities at home. She's doing it more lately.I've tried taking her a really long walks to tire her out. We have two other dogs, so I thought maybe she just needs some special time with us. So we've taken her to the park and stuff just her. But that also doesn't make any difference.Anyone experience this or have any suggestions?We are thinking about getting a thundershirt or something.We also tried giving her some melatonin to calm her when that happens and that did help a few times, but I don't want to give that to her too much as it's more of a cover-up not a solution, to me.Thanks for your help! via /r/dogs http://ift.tt/2r8RseU
