[Discussion] I feel awful and disgusted how my boss treats one the dogs on his farm.

He just bought a puppy and that dog is treated very well. But he used to rent out a house on his property and when the people left they left their dog at the house so technically its not his but it has been there long enough that its obvious the real owners aren't coming back for it. It stays in a back yard of dust with a tree and that's it. Its not tied up it stays in the yard so its well behaved and knows commands like sit, shake ect. I went in yesterday and it was freezing the grass was covered in frost. it was -1 degrees. The dog was standing under the tree shaking. I went up to it and it was so happy so I walked into the yard and crouched down to play with it and it ran under my legs licking me trying to get warm. I nearly burst to tears because one dog is getting 5 star treatment while this dog doesn't even has a bed and when it rains the tree is the only protection it has. I feel awful I want to steal it but I'm living on campus. I don't want to loose my job either.I'm lost on what to do. Its only going to get colder. When I get back home my farm dogs go to bed with me! Iv seen dogs get treated rough on other farms iv worked at but least they have shelter and a bed and the only reason they are treated like that is because they run off.
