Hi people of Reddit! I am currently living in Hong Kong and i've always wanted a dog and now I have the oppritunity to get one, however, this year i'll be going into Grade 11 and I just have a few questions before commiting to a 10+ year responsibility. The dog that I will be getting will most likely be a Female Shiba Inu that has brown and white fur and is approximately 2 months old. It seems to enjoy biting a lot. One of the biggest concerns is to prevent biting at a young age as there will be strangers ranging from young children to elderly people and I do not want them to get hurt so I am hoping ther is a way to stop it early before anything serious happens to the Shiba or other people.Another issue is feeding the Shiba when I am not at home. Although it is possible to have a friend come to my place to feed the dog in the morning and at night (8-10AM + 9PM), I was wondering if the morning feed should contain the feed for the day (except night) or if there are any other better alternatives. What do I need to put in place if I need to travel? As for potty training, although it may not be very neccisary as Shiba Inu's prefer to be clean, I was wondering what were some of the tactics that worked with your dogs early on.As this is a large commitment, I am curious to wheter the feelings you once had when you first took care of the dog have changed or not. Finally, any name reccomendations? :)Thanks for your time everyone! via /r/dogs http://ift.tt/2qTCiId
