[help] Anyone here supplement their dogs' dry kibble?

I have a 1.5 year old Australian Shepherd, and this boy is hungry all the time. I feed him the vet recommended amount, but he's always hungry! I've changed foods 3-4 times and finally found something that he really really enjoys. Its 38% protein, as recommended. My vet also recommended to give him cooked chicken livers 4-5 days a month, and on those days he doesn't seem as hungry. I feel like this could be because it has more substance, maybe?Do any of you guys supplement your kibble? What do you use? Any meats in particular? I read that raw eggs are a good option for protein, but I'm not sure of the truth to that. Any help or insight to why he's always eating (other than he's a growing boy) are appreciated, as well as recommendations for supplementing his diet. via /r/dogs http://ift.tt/2rvDggu
