We're getting ready to book our spay appointment with the vet but have to make a decision on which vet to use. One of the vets in the area has an agreement with our county's humane society and offers the spay (just the operation, not bloodworm, meds, etc) for $100, whereas our current vet does not. That, in addition to the fact that the other vet doesn't do a post-op overnight stay means we'd be saving about $400. Obviously the health of our dog is paramount, but if the same procedure can be had for so much less I'd feel ridiculous spending the extra money. I am a little nervous about the lack of an overnight stay. Is that important or recommended? via /r/dogs http://ift.tt/2subgYZ
