I pick up our rescue dog tomorrow, a sweet german shepherd lab mix, 1 year 1 month old. He was very nice to us at the pound, playful, calm, gentle. Took right to us. He was rescued off the reservation, very emaciated. They've fed him back up to 32 lbs and he's very healthy. He's undergoing treatment for tick fever, but I've read that's no big deal. They're neutering him tomorrow. We looked for crates today, but they were all vastly more expensive than ordering one from Amazon. We've got literally everything else, including a bed, and one of his toys from the pound. Is there anything special we can do to make sure he feels at home Monday night, and doesn't get into anything he shouldn't? I will be home on Tuesday, so no worry about him wandering around during the day. via /r/dogs http://ift.tt/2rILKBn
