[Help]Looking to adopt my first dog

Hello! I'm currently looking into adopting a four year old American Bullboxer mix to live with me on my college campus. I'm located on a very large college campus with a lively dog community that has slowly convinced me to adopt. This past year, I lived in dorms so it wasn't an option, but this year I'll be living in a single apartment on my own.Living on my own is going to suck, and I really would like this lil guy to keep me company, but I'm worried I might not have enough time to really take care of him. For the most part, I'm gone during the day from 11am to 3 or 4pm, and I work on campus part time until 8 or 10pm, depending. My only time for her will be morning walks and hanging out in the afternoon/nightly walks. Also, I've never really taken care of something else before, but this last year I've shaped up and been a lot more responsible with my time management and losing weight. My biggest concern is socializing her. I want to learn how to socialize and watch for signs of aggression before I get closer to adopting her (in August), but there is a lot of information out there with somewhat conflicting views.I could really use some advice on where to find solid, credible information and maybe a few tips leading up to adopting. Any help is much appreciated!! via /r/dogs http://ift.tt/2qLfLw9
