My Boston Terrier doesn't know when to leave other dogs alone [Help]

I have a 7 month old BT. He is an awesome dog and was a breeze to house train. The only problem I have with him is he annoys other dogs. He is not dog aggressive at all, instead he constantly wants to play. I think some of it stems from the fact he is still a puppy, but even around other puppies, he doesn't know when enough is enough. At times, another dog will let him know when they want to be left alone and give him a nip or a growl. He will back off, let off a bark, and then continue to harass the dog.Recently, we were at the dog park and he was rough housing with a female pitbull. After a while, you could tell she had had enough, but my dog wouldn't leave her alone. Eventually, she pinned him down and let off a nasty snarl, but it didn't phase him. The pitbull's owner dragged her dog off of mine, but my dog continued to follow and harass the pitbull. I had to leave in fear the pitbull would retaliate further and hurt my pup.Is there any way I can curb this behavior?
