Just came home from walking the dog. Met up with the usual gang and chatted for a bit. I left home a bit later than usual so we only caught up with them on the final part of the walk when they stopped to play/pet a young german shepherd who sometimes joins us. Since the other dogs were tired and Bojangles' best friend wasn't there she didn't run as much so we played fetch till she was bored. Let her sniff a bit more and came back home. The dog is sleeping on the couch, close to me. She usually stays here till I go to bed where she'll curl up next to my girlfriend until she moves in her sleep and Bojangles gets mad and comes sleep between my legs. Girlfriend loves Bojangles. She's the one who feeds her, walks her in the morning, lunchtime and afternoon (she's a 10 min walk away from home whereas I'm a 40 minute car ride) and keeps track of her vet appointments and vaccines. I love watching her play from the window when she's in the park behind our apartment. I'm the one who teaches the dog tricks, and I always show them to her. She'll talk about them to her co-workers and friends and shoe them the videos too. Despite that, she only uses one or two commands when outside on walks (stay, come, let's go). Today I got up a bit earlier and was awake, but still lying in bed hehe, while she got the dog ready for a walk. I heard her say 'Little Paws' (rough translation) so she could put on the dog harness and 'Where is it?' so Bojangles would pick a toy to take outside.
