So, my dog has seasonal allergies. Last year when she had symptoms I took her to the vet and got some medicine for her. It cleared up all of her coughing and sneezing for about a month, but had the side effect that she couldn't hold her pee and kept going in the house. I don't remember exactly what the medicine was (I think it was something steroid based like they use for asthma, it cleared up her coughing right away), but it was really expensive, and I didn't get more again when we ran out.Now it's a new year and she's wheezing and coughing again. I want to be armed with some information before I go back to the vet; every time I go in there they try to sell me a hundred different things, it feels like walking into a car dealership or something.
