So - I made a post earlier this week about my dog experiencing possible partial seizures. My vet won't exactly say they're seizures. Just a severe reaction to nervousness like a panic attack. I've never heard of that before but he's given her Valium as stated in the post before.We ran bloodwork today and discovered that her Thyroid hormone was elevated pretty severely. Which could, apparently, also be affecting her heightened anxiety. We'll be switching her food to something else. He recommended chicken based which I won't argue with either. I'm anxious to get these tremors to stop.The thing is... She was eating some pretty high-end food. Blue Buffalo. Small breed lamb & brown rice. Seeing as I've been feeding her Blue since she was a puppy. It's never done us wrong before. I was also pretty shocked to even hear that some of their food had been recalled pretty recently.Has anyone else had issues with Blue before? All I see are people absolutely praising the brand.
