[Discussion] Frozen Carrot for Teething Pup

Has anyone else tried this? I was at my local pet store buying a puppy Nylabone for my v destructive teething 11 week old Boston and the cashier recommended I don't bother and just go home and freeze a small carrot and give that to her instead...I was a bit worried at first that it might be too hard for her teeth, but it quickly thaws out enough as she starts licking it that it becomes just the right texture and firmness, plus she seems to love carrots anyway so a double bonus. Also the coldness of it supposedly helps with soothing teething gums.So far it seems like a winner! via /r/dogs http://ift.tt/2r0c9vb
