[Fluff] I almost re-homed my dog, but I am glad I waited

6 months ago, I submitted an incredibly long and dramatic post detailing the difficulties my husband and I experienced two weeks after adopting an 11mo Australian Shepherd named Ozzy. The incredible support and advice I received was so encouraging. If any of you who replied are still hanging around, I would like to express my thanks and provide an update:The first two months (November and December) were so difficult. Ozzy was in a constant state of stress and discontentment, and frankly, so were we. It seemed like nothing was working. I was on the edge of re-homing him, but I took a deep breath and decided to give it another 30 days. January rolled around, and things just sort of....clicked. Fast forward to now: Ozzy is wonderful, and I wouldn't trade him for anything. So, to anyone that is thinking of re-homing their newly adopted dog:Keep at it. All of your hard work will pay off. Train, exercise, play, and love on your dog every day. It will get better. via /r/dogs http://ift.tt/2qVzazs
