I have a Boston Terrier that we got almost two weeks ago at six weeks old. I know that's too early but I didn't know how old he was until we were paying for him and I wasn't going to complain. He's been an anxious pup and admittedly this is my first dog on my own so I may have been indulging him a bit by carrying him places and coddling him when I shouldn't have.My boyfriend and I built a large puppy play pen for him in the living room and unless he sleeps in the sleeping area he hates it and freaks out that he can't be with us. We keep toys in there and feed him in there and it hasn't really helped. It gets worse if no one is in the room. Once he was sleeping in the pen and I went for a jog and he freaked out so bad that he woke my boyfriend up two rooms over. This morning I tried the ignoring technique after feeding him in the pen and it got so loud that I knew he was close to waking my boyfriend and neighbors so I got him out anyway. I know he's young but my boyfriend and I wont be able to afford a house for a while and I am concerned about his growing separation anxiety that will get worse when the summer is over and I go back to work(I teach). Is there anything I can do for him at this age to help him? via /r/dogs http://ift.tt/2qPtQxE
