[Help] My dog is suddenly refusing to get into his crate every night!

I have this sweet little Welsh Corgi who is turning 2-years-old in September, and lately there's been trouble putting him to bed. He's always slept inside his crate, every night since he was 3-months-old (door locked on it because he'll get into mischief once the sun comes up otherwise). I've seen him go into it just because he wanted to, I've seen him rush into it when night came because he was so tired, and there was a time after he got a new bed in it where he absolutely loved going to sleep. He has never had a problem aside from the rare nights where he wanted to play instead of sleep. For the past couple weeks, however, he's just been refusing to get into his crate. My sister and I have to force him into it, and every day it gets worse. He seems to really want to sleep in my bed with me and I don't let him right now. He's allowed into my bed during the day when I'm in my room, but that has always been the case. I have changed absolutely nothing about the routine or rules since he was a small puppy. It's pretty much just at night when it's time to sleep that he climbs into my bed and I can't get him out of it. Tonight has been the worst yet and he whined just as he was put into his crate. Now, I should mention that he does cry a lot over every minor discomfort or slightly unpleasant moment. He's a sensitive little boy and he's been that way since the day we brought him home. It takes next to nothing to get him upset or stressed out. To name a few examples, if we go out more than one evening in a row, he won't eat unless he's in the same room as my sister or myself, watching us. He cries if a toy is a little out of reach from where he happens to be sitting. He is absolutely terrified of garbage bags, the oven door, aluminum foil, etc. The car wash will leave him shaking for about 30 minutes after it's over. I could go on all day, but he is really really really wonderful even with all that so it makes me feel awful every time I have to push him into his crate.Normally I wouldn't question his cries, but since the crate issue is getting worse with every passing day, I am actually starting to get concerned by it. He really seems to sleep just fine once he settles so it's confusing me. I'm worried that maybe he had a bad dream or something is wrong with his bed that I don't know about, or who knows what else it could be. I've changed nothing so I just don't get it. It's weird that he would suddenly have some desperate need to be in bed with me but I'm no expert on the mind of dogs. What should I do? Any ideas or solutions to the problem?TL;DR: My dog suddenly fights me on getting into his formerly beloved crate every night and I don't know what's wrong. via /r/dogs http://ift.tt/2qMscsA
