[help] My grandparents dog needs to be put down

My grandparents have a 17 year old rottweiler border collie mix and it has been time for her to be put down for awhile now and my grandparents won't do it.The dog can't see or hear and she falls down all the time and runs into stuff. She also can't control her bodily functions anymore. My grandma is under the delusion that just because the dog still acts happy to see them that she is fine. They also don't want to spend the money to put her down, even though money isn't an issue for them....they just bought a brand new car.My uncle and aunt live with my grandparents and my grandma always says that she wishes that the dog will die "on my uncles shift so she won't have to deal with it" my grandparents happen to be on vacation right now and my family thinks we should have my uncle have the dog put down. The dog is suffering and my grandam isn't doing to do anything about it. Is having my uncle do it while they are gone the best thing to do? via /r/dogs http://ift.tt/2rqVNsn
