Hi. I have a 11 month, female, Japanese Spitz, spayed and fluffy.I was wondering if there is any harm in giving her butt and back leg area a little trim (not shave) to shorten the hair as I have noticed that when she squats down to poop, her long butt fur curls into the grass/mud/poop/wee.I understand generally, cutting a double coated dog can cause problems in the fur growing back, does this apply if it's only trimming about an inch? the alternative is daily bath/washes after her toilet time, which I don't think is good for her skin.Thoughts? via /r/dogs http://ift.tt/2sGjDzO
