I have two almost seven year old miniature dachshunds, that I begun to actually walk about two or so months ago, and do it 2/3 of the time (the rest of the days I'm with my dad and can't). I've got them walking for around 25-30 minutes, about a mile and a half, but I'm having trouble. One of them comes inside, and instead of drinking his fresh water, he dry heaves, sometimes with clear liquid (saliva) coming out. Should I keep their walks to just 20 minutes? Should I keep it shorter for now so they have more time to adjust? They don't need to be walked for going to the bathroom, they use the backyard, walking is just for the exercise, by the way. via /r/dogs http://ift.tt/2qNKZDN
