I would love to do a DNA test on my "Sato," but I'm not sure if it's worth it. He is likely a multigenerational mutt. I've kept in touch with the organization that rescued him, and they said he was found at 4 weeks old on the side of the road with his litter and my guess is most likely correct.I did talk to someone else from the organization though and out of curiosity they did a DNA test on their Sato and actually did get results! Now I feel like it isn't totally a waste of money, but I'm still a bit skeptical. I don't care at all what his mix is, this is purely for curiosity's sake.Has anyone else had any luck with a DNA test on their mutt? Also, I live in a place where there is a Pitbull ban in effect. If I do a DNA test and found out he has some bully breeds in him, will this cause any issues? He doesn't really look like a pit except for his ears (he has an extremely narrow head and slender body) so without proof no one would ever know. But I can't find a lot of information about this so I'm paranoid. via /r/dogs http://ift.tt/2rouyB3
