I'm getting my first dog! Her name is Abby and she's the sweetest dog I've ever met, I don't think I've ever even heard her bark. She is not abused with who she's with now but her previous owners did abuse her, and she's neglected at her current home. She lives with my aunt's ex right now but I will be adopting her in 2 weeks so I will have time to get my house ready. I'm going to crate train her and I'll have to potty train her too because she is kept outside 24/7 and when she's inside she has pee accidents.I'm getting a crate, harness, leash, food bowl, water bowl, pee pads, poop bags, dog bed, toothbrush/toothpaste, and a collar. I don't think she's ever been to the vet so I'm going to set something up and get pet insurance!! I didn't even know that was a thing until last week, but I know it's necessary. My relatives own a groom shop and I'll take her by there too to clip her nails and help her with fleas if they can. If not I'll buy stuff for fleas.
