[Help] Choosing a first dog

If not, what experience do you have owning/training dogs?Yes2) Do you have a preference for rescuing a dog vs. going through a reputable breeder?I would rather rescue a dog.3) Describe your ideal dog.Lazy enough to lounge in bed or on the couch but still wanting to walk for hours daily.4) What breeds or types of dogs are you interested in and why?Husky, rottweiler and German Shepard because i have been told previously they make great walking companions.5) What sorts of things would you like to train your dog to do?Sit and walking without a leash also not running out the door first chance he gets.Care Commitments6) How long do you want to devote to training, playing with, or otherwise interacting with your dog each day?training for at least an hour i will be interacting with him all day on weekends and after work.7) How long can you exercise your dog each day, on average? What sorts of exercise are you planning to give your dog regularly and does that include using a dog park?Walking anywhere from 1-6 hours with breaks, I have a baseball field an hour walk away i take my friends dog at least 3 times a week to run around in. Not a fan of dog parks.8) How much regular brushing are you willing to do? Are you open to trimming hair, cleaning ears, or doing other grooming at home?
