I have a 4 year old Chinese Crested who is very picky about eating. We've been feeding her kibble, but she just doesn't eat it most of the time. Sometimes she'll go so long without eating that she'll throw up bile. Today she had a teeth cleaning and we were instructed to give her wet food. She went crazy for that and gobbled it up.Now, my family has been pressuring me to switch her to wet food, but I never wanted to because I thought she would be willing to eat her kibble if she were put on a schedule and was not enticed with human food (my sister will sometimes sprinkle cheese on top of her kibble when I'm not looking). I feel like my family's behavior in giving into my dog's begging and stubbornness has fostered her pickiness, but they don't seem to care enough to stop. Today I asked my sister to stop giving the dog scraps and she said "only if you start giving her wet food."I'm not sure where to go next. She obviously loves wet food but I know it's not any better for her than dry food and is less economical. Should we switch her to wet food anyway? Should we try a different dry food? Right now we're feeding her Trader Joe's and I'm not sure about its quality. Should I try a strict feeding schedule for her current food (only keeping the bowl down for 10 minutes)? Any help is much appreciated. via /r/dogs http://ift.tt/2qCG2BJ
