[Help] Dog car harness, should I use Ruffwear or Sleepypod?

I'm looking to get my dog a car harness before a long road trip this summer. I've already learned from this subreddit that Ruffwear Load up and Sleepypod Clickit Utility or Sport as basically the only harnesses worth buying. I'm undecided on which to try, however. Sleepypod seems to be more popular, and I like its 3 point seatbelt design. However, I'm concerned it may be too restrictive for my dog, especially on long car rides. My dog is a 60 lb German Shepherd mix, and he's too large to lay down facing forward in the seat; he has to lay across my back row of seats. Ruffwear seems more flexible but also maybe not as secure or as well tested. Does anyone have recommendations or personal experiences to share? via /r/dogs http://ift.tt/2qO42hd
