[Breeds] Help choosing

Introduction1) Will this be your first dog? If not, what experience do you have owning/training dogs? No. I've had Rottweilers, Boxers, Pinschers, Brazilian Filas and Poodles.2) Do you have a preference for rescuing a dog vs. going through a reputable breeder? Not really.3) Describe your ideal dog.I need an aggressive dog (to protect the house) which isn't very noisy and which is beautiful (my mom doesn't want a breed like American Bulldog). Rottweilers were docile imo (like, they got used to people pretty quickly), and the Fila I used to own was way too noisy (if we threw any party, we had to take him to granny's)4) What breeds or types of dogs are you interested in and why?Nothing in particular; I'm looking for an ideal breed.5) What sorts of things would you like to train your dog to do?To protect the house.Care Commitments6) How long do you want to devote to training, playing with, or otherwise interacting with your dog each day?Very little.7) How long can you exercise your dog each day, on average? What sorts of exercise are you planning to give your dog regularly and does that include using a dog park?Nothing. He will be in a large space inside the house. Maybe once in a year we can take him for a walk.8) How much regular brushing are you willing to do? Are you open to trimming hair, cleaning ears, or doing other grooming at home? If not, would you be willing to pay a professional to do it regularly? No, none of that. Also, I don't want long fur, as I live in a hot place and we don't have time to take care of such a fur.Personal Preferences9) What size dog are you looking for?Medium or big.10) How much shedding, barking, and slobber can you handle?Barking would be ideal if it was just to alert us at night or something, but not barking the whole night if we threw a party.11) How important is being able to let your dog off-leash in an unfenced area? Not much. The fenced area we have is large enough imo.Dog Personality and Behavior12) Do you want a snuggly dog or one that prefers some personal space?Personal space would be better imo.13) Would you prefer a dog that wants to do its own thing or one that’s more eager-to-please?Eager to please.14) How would you prefer your dog to respond to someone knocking on the door or entering your yard? How would you prefer your dog to greet strangers or visitors?Greeting absolutely unecessary, but, as I've said, they could bark a little just to alert us.15) Are you willing to manage a dog that is aggressive to other dogs?Well, we plan to have two females of the same breed. We also have a poodle and a Rottweiler home, so it'd be better if they got along well.16) Are there any other behaviors you can’t deal with or want to avoid?No.Lifestyle17) How often and how long will the dog be left alone?Almost always, but he will receive food regarly by the maid.18) What are the dog-related preferences of other people in the house and what will be their involvement in caring for the dog?Not much involvement.19) Do you have other pets or are you planning on having other pets? What breed or type of animal are they?Yes, a Rottweiler and a Poodle, planning to buy more 2 dogs of the same breed.20) Will the dog be interacting with children regularly?Hm... No.21) Do you rent or plan to rent in the future? If applicable, what breed or weight restrictions are on your current lease?No.22) What city or country do you live in and are you aware of any laws banning certain breeds?Brazil, Teresina. Don't think there are any here.23) What is the average temperature of a typical summer and winter day where you live?38C summer, about 32 winter, I suppose.Additional Information and Questions24) Please provide any additional information you feel may be relevant.N/A25) Feel free to ask any questions below.N/A via /r/dogs http://ift.tt/2rw1wzv
