[Discussion] How to pick out and suggestions for a training collar

My S.O. would like to get Sebastian a training collar, he wants one that has tone and vibrate with no static correction; I however would like one with static correction for extreme correction (such as running towards moving traffic, ect). My S.O. wants the collar because Sebastian won't listen to him at the park and I want to use it for his puppy ADD to get his attention (will zone in on a group of dogs and won't even respond to me calling him from a few feet away) and for a silent recall (I'm wanting to give him more freedom at the park so he can go explore the trees more/not have to be velcro'd to me). I know that you pay for quality for the most part; ie. less money=lower cost.So what are your suggestions?I'm also looking at getting an aftermarket collar with a quick release vs the buckle since I feel like the few training collars I've put on him seem too loose on one hole and the next hole is too tight for me to feel like he can breathe while playing. via /r/dogs http://ift.tt/2stUnNp
