A couple of weeks ago I woke up at 4am and I was sure my 2 year old dog was dead. She sleeps with us and she is 11 lbs, half Italian Greyhound, half Chihuahua. I stroked her head and called her name and moved her body but she was limp. I was getting pretty upset but she was warm and when I rested my hand on her lower (naked) belly I could feel her breathing so I went back to sleep. Two hours later when we got up she was fine and frisky. It happened again last week. Is this just normal for some dogs? I've never owned such a small dog before and none of my past dogs did this. However none of our past dogs slept in our bed so maybe I just never noticed? via /r/dogs http://ift.tt/2rDjakN
