So went to the vet this AM. Vet held off on rabies till tomorrow because we got blood drawn to check all systems and just incase the seizures are due to liver or kidney functions. Vet wants me to watch him for another week before we decide the seizures are staying and not residual effects from meds at the humane society that have a side effect of seizure like activity.Turns out he's got a super cool yeast infection in his ears too. So we are treating that as well as a 2X weekly skin treatment/shampoo. If all his labs look good we'll start steroids to kick out the yeast in a steady blow.Talked about food-- changed food (same food) different protein. So no chicken, grains, potatoes, or sweet potatoes in his diet for a long while.Also my other dog was due for her heat cycle around the end of June and I noticed the tale-tell signs of it today. So that would explain her off-kilter attitude and we'll be doing no dog park for the next couple of weeks. via /r/dogs http://ift.tt/2rNCZG3
